Greetings Family, We pray this finds you all well and that God continues to bless you from His abundance. Today I went for a walk and was overwhelmed with the beauty of God’s Creation. My senses were delighted as I gazed on the bursts of vivid colors and the fragrant perfumes that permeated the air. I pondered upon the magnificence that surrounded me and thought that just a few weeks ago everything was dark and gray, with no outward of signs of life, everything appeared dead from the buffeting of the winter’s cold.
The trees stood like skeletons with their naked branches waiting to again show off their splendor. My physical eyes could not perceive that anything was happening, yet deep down in darkest, hidden places, each tree, flower, and vine were receiving what they needed to prepare them for the new season about to unfold. And now, this day, it was unfolding in such a beautiful and spectacular way. I thought, isn’t it amazing how trees, even though they are of the same species, not one is the same. They grow differently because of different conditions yet they all began from the exact same type of seed. Contained within that tiny seed lies everything that they one day will become. Their leaves are similar, but is there one leaf that is like the other? Each born of a seed yet one has grown tall with branches reaching upward toward the sky and another shorter with arms extending outward towards the horizon as if longing to embrace.
No two alike, each in different stages of growth, but one is as beautiful as the other. And so I began to think about us, the children of the Living God. Every person that has been born again came from the Seed of Life through Jesus Christ, created in His image and likeness Each one unique in every way, a special treasure for the King. No one has ever nor ever will be just like you or me! Isn’t it truly amazing that of the billions of people who have walked upon the earth not one has had the same DNA or fingerprint!
