Greetings brothers and sisters. As I write this we are on our way to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on a mission trip. This time Mike Hawkins and his daughter Angie are accompanying us, as well as Ryan and Jana Dubord from Edmond, Oklahoma and Brad Snider one of our students. We are expectant of what God will do in our midst.
From there Randy and the pastors returned home, but I traveled to Villahermosa, Mexico to minister at a women’s conference with friends Pastors Daniel y Ana Luisa who pastor a wonderful church there in the city. They hosted their annual Woman’s Conference and the presence of God flooded the meeting place. There were many pastor’s wives from different denominations and as He began to speak to our hearts and draw nearer the Holy Spirit began to strengthen tired hands, restore broken hearts, and heal bodies and souls. The Lord prompted me to call the widows present because He wanted to bless them and about 10 came forward. One by one the other women present there approached these precious widows and blessed them with whatever the Holy Spirit placed on their hearts. Oh what a glorious healing presence filled that place. For over 40 minutes they embraced those widows and filled their hands with blessings! Tears flowed as they held them and I sensed those hearts being healed.
There was a previous little 10 year old girl who became my constant companion. She began to share her story with me and it just broke my heart! She has been abused in every way by close relatives and was thrown out of her home into the street where her aunt rescued her. So many little ones broken and alone. The Lord has put these widows and orphans in our care.
