The Lord did so many wonderful and amazing things. The week began with a meeting for married couples, a lunch for women, and a time of seeking with pastors and leaders, During the weekend we had an outreach camp for the youth of the city. One of my favorite testimonies is from the camp with our focus on this fatherless generation. One young man in particular grabbed my heart because of a deep sadness I detected in his heart. Jonathan is 16 years old and I called him to come out of his seat and I began to speak to him saying, “When I first saw you last night, I saw that your heart is broken and there is a very deep sadness in you.” I said to him, “Tell me if I am wrong, and he said, “no ma’m you’re not wrong. So I said, “I’m also seeing that you even didn’t want to live,” and I asked him if I was wrong and he said, “no ma’m you’re not wrong.” Then I said, “You have even attempted suicide”, and at that he began to sob, fell to his knees crying so hard that his nose began to bleed. We began to pray and cast out that spirit of death and he was set free! That night at the close of the camp I told the kids I wanted to hear their testimonies. I called Jonathan to the front and I asked him, “Son, what have you learned here this weekend and what are you taking away from it?” With his head down and his eyes full of tears he said, “HOPE!” Oh, my heart just soared with gratitude, and I asked him, “Hope for what?” This time looking straight at me and with a smile he said, “HOPE TO LIVE!” I just raised my hands to heaven and thanked my precious Lord for His mercy and His everlasting love! I prayed, Lord, even if you brought me all this way, just for this ONE, it was more than worth it! For your Word says that the Good Shepherd will leave the ninety-nine for ONE who is lost. On the way back to my hotel, the pastor told me that a couple of weeks prior Jonathan had overdosed on drugs at school and almost died! Oh glory be to God!

I had the honor of visiting with Pastors Daniel and Rocio Chavez from Puebla during the second week of April and what a delight to minister to their women, leaders and pastors and to their two congregations. The testimony that most impacted my heart was about a young praise and worship leader whose name is Misael. On Sunday morning I was surprised when this very anointed young man and his team came to accompany us during both services. God gave me a word for his life and I released it, not having any idea of his testimony because I had never met him before that morning. It has been MANY years that I haven’t experienced such an anointing and presence of God in a service! During lunch and on the drive to my hotel I shared parts of my testimony, not imagining that everything I was sharing was for him. He was actually walking through a very dry desert, not understanding what the Lord was doing. He told me that not only the messages but also every part of my testimony was 100% for him. He was so refreshed, injected with faith and hope to carry on and trust the Lord even if he didn’t know where, or any details of his future! One moment in the car, I had shared about the blessing of the desert, and he turned to me and said, “Pastora, for many years I have been the praise and worship leader and in charge of all the media and audio of a church of 5,000 members and eight days ago they advised me that I was no longer needed there! I am sure that my mouth was wide open as I then understood “why” I had shared those particular parts of my testimony with this new friend and son. Oh how I praise and thank our heavenly Father for every detail of our lives that He is faithful to bless us! This young man was just so overcome with gratitude that his Abba Father had heard his cry and knew EXACTLY what he needed! Oh we serve such a good good Father!
