Greetings Family in Christ. It is such a joy to share with you all that the Lord has done in our midst. We are so thankful for His faithfulness as our hearts sing praises for His mighty works ; we saw many salvations, healings, and hearts restored. I Pamela travelled twice to Villahermosa, Mexico that is in the South eastern part of the country. I was privileged to minister in 5 different churches within a 3 hour radius. The Presence of the Holy Spirit was in every meeting in such a powerful way. Sadly my second trip about a week and a half later was to accompany my friend Mara Yee because her husband Pastor Cesar Perez died suddenly of heart failure. They have been dear and precious friends to me for many years and Cesar who contributed so much to the kingdom will be greatly missed. Please pray for Mara and her two children Mary Fer and Carlos for comfort and provision during this difficult time.
From Villahermosa I flew to meet Randy and the team that flew the 421 to Puerto Vallarta for our mission outreach with Pastor Saul Gonzalez at Perdon and Amistad Ministries. Brad Snider went along as Co-Pilot and minister. Mike Hawkins joined us from Gospel Flight Ministries located in Broken Arrow and Mitch and Teresa Pennington from Heaven’s Landing Retreat located in Medley, West Virginia.
We arrived on Wednesday and literally I had 10 minutes to get ready for a women’s meeting scheduled at 6:00. Every day each member of the team went out to different locations sharing God’s Word and bringing hope to these precious people. One of my most memorable moments was Sunday morning when Randy and I travelled for nearly 3 hours outside of Puerto Vallarta way up into the mountains to the small town of Compostela. It is a beautiful valley surrounded by a majestic mountain range. As we drove into the town we felt such a peace and when we arrived at this small church nestled on the hillside I could feel such a sweet Presence of the Lord. When the Praise and Worship team began to sing, I was amazed because they were all children between the ages of 8 and 13! Three young singers, a girl of about 12 playing the guitar and singing and a boy of about 13 playing the drums. Well come to find out the elderly Pastor of that church had recently retired and handed it over to his daughter and son-in-law. What was so wonderful was that all those kids doing praise and worship were his grandchildren! I am telling you, there was such a sweet presence of God that the only thing I could do was weep. These young kids were not just singing, they were worshipping in Spirit and in Truth! The young man that was the leader was the Pastor’s son and wow I haven’t seen such passion for praising the Lord in such a long time. God’s Word was released and the Holy Spirit flooded that place with the power of His Love, many hearts were restored and renewed.

As we come into the Easter season we are reminded of the wondrous Love that Jesus poured out for us on the Cross. I wanted to share a message that the Lord reminded me of while in Mexico.

1 Peter 2:20-21
(After All) what kind of glory (is there in it) if when you do wrong and are punished for it you take it patiently? but if you bear patiently with suffering (which results) when you do right and that is undeserved, it is acceptable and well-pleasing to God. For even to this were you called-it is inseparable from your vocation. For Christ also suffered for you, leaving you (His personal ) example, so that you should follow in His footsteps. (AMP version)
Jesus left us His personal example that we should follow in His footsteps! What does it mean to be a follower of Christ? Have you ever asked yourself what is it going to cost me to follow Him? Where are those footsteps going to lead me?
Matthew 9:35
And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the good news (the Gospel) of the kingdom, and curing all kinds of disease and every weakness and infirmity.
His footsteps led Him to TEACH, PREACH AND HEAL!!!
John 8
We have the story of when the Scribes and the Pharisees brought the woman caught in the very act of adultery and put her in front of Jesus.
They didn’t care about her, they just wanted to tempt Jesus to be able to accuse Him. But Jesus only had His eyes on her, and when He said “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her. One by one they threw down their stones and left Jesus alone with that woman. Jesus asked her, Woman, where are your accusers? Has no man condemned you? And she answered, No one, Lord! And Jesus said, I do not condemn you either. Go on your way, and from now on sin no more.
Jesus’ footsteps led Him to a place of FORGIVENESS!!
John 13:1
(Now) before the Passover Feast began, Jesus knew (was fully aware) that the time had come for Him to leave this world and return to the Father, And He had loved those who were His own in the world, He loved them to the last and to the highest degree (AMP) version
Jesus knowing His time had come, He loved those that were His own. I can picture them all sitting around that table, most likely relaxing and talking about whatever. I can see Jesus just looking at them, knowing. So He got up took off HIs garments and taking a servant’s towel, He fastened it around His waist. He began to wash the disciples feet one by one. Taking the lowest position as a servant.
V14: If I then, your Lord and Teacher (Master), have washed your feet, you ought—it is your duty, you are under obligation, you owe it—to wash another’s feet.
V15: For I have given this as an example, so that you should do (in your turn) what I have done to you.
V17: If you know these things, blessed and happy and to be envied are you if you practice them-if you act accordingly and really do them.
Jesus’ footsteps led Him to HUMILITY!!!
Mark 14:35-36
And going a little farther, He fell on the ground and kept praying that, if it were possible, the (fatal) hour might pass from Him. And He was saying Abba, (Which means) Father, everything is possible for You; take away this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what You (will).
Jesus’ footsteps took Him to OBEDIENCE.
John 15:12-13
This is My commandment, that you love one another (just) as I have loved you. No one has greater love-no one has shown stronger affection-than to lay down (give up) his own life for his friends.
Jesus’ footsteps took Him to LOVE.
Oh my brothers and sisters, the hour has come when every child of God must look upon their life and in all sincerity and transparency before God, look and see whether they are truly following His example!
1 Peter 2:21 For even to this were you called-it is inseparable from your vocation. For Christ also suffered for you, leaving you (His personal) example, so that you should follow in His footsteps.
Psalm 17:15 As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awake in Your likeness.
